Type V

TYPE V is made of fully (100 %) hardened ACRYLIC parts. In further workflows it will filtered according to American standard mesh-sizes and moistened with a special anti-static agent. It’s suitable for the shot blasting of soft/thin nonferrous metals and composite parts. The Type V doesn’t produce any harshness on soft metals and galvanic coatings with an approx. 10 % higher stripping rate compared to the Type II. The consumption of blasting media is approx. 50 % less than Type II. Type V have been certified by the U.S. Air Force according to MIL-P-85891, MIL-P-85891A and MIL-DTL-85891B and can be used for cleaning and paint stripping of surfaces in the aircraft industry and the military sector.
